Job Title: Lead Limited Medical Radiology Tech

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Limited Medical Radiology Tech to join our team at DHR Health. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiological procedures in a timely and accurate manner. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic radiological procedures in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies.
  • Collaborate with other Radiology team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient patient care.
  • Monitor and maintain radiologic equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new staff members.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate from an accredited Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) education program.
  • Current state certification (TMB) required with limited certificate issued in the following categories: Skull, extremity, chest, and spine.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Two years of supervisory experience in a medical practice preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

This position requires working in an air-conditioned environment with varying exposures to noise. The individual must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for long periods. The position has minimal exposure to malodorous, infectious body fluids from patients and some minimal exposure to noxious smells from cleansing agents.

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A graduate from an accredited Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) education program is also required. Current state certification (TMB) with limited certificate issued in the following categories: Skull, extremity, chest, and spine is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.

Customer Service:

Provide excellent customer service to all DHR customers. All employees are required to attend the DHR C.A.R.E. program which outlines the Customer Service Principles including: Commitment, Accountability, Respect, Excellence, and Service.

Age Specific:

Employees must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in his/her assigned unit.

Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA):

This position has minimal to no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues and is an OSHA Category III.
