Job SummaryThis position performs skilled work in the repair, construction, and maintenance of hospital buildings, grounds, vehicles, facilities, equipment, and electrical and mechanical devices.
Responsibilities- Corrective Maintenance: Perform work to correct damaged equipment or facility components within 24 hours.
- Emergency Maintenance: Respond to emergencies and perform work to prevent harm or injury to patients, visitors, or staff.
- Scheduled Maintenance: Use the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to perform tasks and keep equipment in good working order.
- Service Request Maintenance: Perform work requested by end users that is not of an emergency nature.
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid NC Driver's license (if a driver)
- Three (3) years of experience with maintenance and repair projects or large facility maintenance
- Full-time position
- 40 hours per week
- $27.16 per hour (hiring range)
- Exempt from overtime
