Job Summary

Welldoc, a leading digital health company, is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in structuring analysis and developing insights that will help us improve health outcomes for millions of patients.

Key Responsibilities

Develop automated pipelines for various data types and datasets, design and implement data architectures to support these pipelines, and develop and maintain ETL processes using languages and tools like Databricks, SQL, Python, and Apache Airflow. Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their data requirements and ensure data availability. Build and maintain custom data pipelines to support ad-hoc data requests from internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in data engineering, ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a high-power team, and experience modeling, recommendations/personalization, working with big data using tools such as Apache Spark, Databricks, and Azure cloud computing. Python and SQL programming experience is required, and experience with tools such as Microsoft BI, R, Tableau is preferred. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work in a regulated environment are also required.
