Position Overview

As a Field Sales Executive at PVI Holdings, Inc., you will play a crucial role in driving and enhancing sales performance across designated accounts within your region. Collaborating closely with the Sales Director and the VP of Sales, you will be tasked with managing account lists and ensuring the promotion of all products and services offered by the company to bolster market presence year over year. Your annual objectives, target accounts, and key performance indicators (KPIs) will be meticulously documented and reviewed on an ongoing basis. This role requires you to effectively utilize tools to nurture existing accounts and elevate them to higher tiers of engagement.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • Directly responsible for the daily sales activities of company offerings, employing Application Selling techniques to generate new business opportunities.
  • Establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers and management personnel at client sites, fostering long-term loyalty and trust.
  • Develop and sustain comprehensive knowledge of the company's service offerings, pricing structures, and additional services to present to existing clients.
  • Engage in OEM training sessions to grasp the technical distinctions of our OEM product lines.
  • Complete customer feedback reports for all significant interactions, ensuring actionable follow-ups are documented.
  • Regularly meet with the Sales Director and operational teams to assess customer retention strategies, relationship management, and progress towards objectives.
  • Utilize available data to formulate, maintain, and execute an account strategy in collaboration with sales management.
  • Conduct proactive customer outreach, including calls and visits, to gather essential information and collaborate with OEM partners.
  • Identify potential capital projects, maintenance schedules, and other spending opportunities early, notifying relevant stakeholders.
  • Work in partnership with the operations team to resolve customer service issues as they arise.
  • Enhance company visibility by participating in sponsored events, trade shows, and community activities.
  • Ensure comprehensive customer care is delivered consistently.
  • Build and uphold customer trust in the company as a reliable, value-driven solutions provider.
  • Exhibit a proven ability to meet foundational capabilities.
  • Demonstrate product knowledge sufficient to independently conduct customer presentations that drive business growth.
  • Proactively engage with OEM representatives to expand sales and showcase the company's commitment to their brands.
  • Formulate, implement, and manage a growth strategy for accounts and product offerings.
  • Achieve growth in wallet share at key accounts by introducing additional company services and products.
  • Exhibit proficiency in sizing and selection principles, leveraging ValvStream for customer specifications.
  • Present competitive comparisons effectively to enhance the install base based on product merits.
  • Demonstrate expertise in VK Viewer software, capable of providing customer training to illustrate product advantages.
  • Complete necessary training to deepen product knowledge and enhance interactions with manufacturer personnel.
  • Exhibit proficiency in presenting competitive comparisons for various product lines.
  • Lead pre and post-TAR meetings with customers, taking ownership of the process and coordinating resources effectively.
  • Utilize tools such as Tableau, VuPoint, and Google Suite for forecasting and budgeting based on customer insights.
  • Develop a strategic account management plan that includes regular visits and meetings, allowing for flexibility in pursuing new opportunities.
  • Successfully complete training in presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Work with minimal supervision while demonstrating a strong focus on safety and teamwork.
Educational & Experience Requirements
  • Proficient in various software tools, including email, scheduling applications, spreadsheets, and dashboard software.
  • 2-6 years of relevant customer-facing sales experience.
  • Manage a book of business valued between $2 million and $4 million.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Possession of a TWIC Card is preferred or the ability to obtain one.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Capable of bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
  • Willingness to travel and maintain a clear driving record as per company guidelines.
