Primary Duties:
Delivers prompt, efficient, and friendly service by demonstrating care, concern, and patience in all customer interactions.
Welcomes customers warmly.
Aims to learn customers' names and address them personally whenever feasible.

Assists customers by:
Guiding them to the products they seek.
Retrieving items that are out of reach.
Helping with heavy items.
Performing additional tasks to enhance the shopping experience.

Answers phone calls promptly and provides courteous service to customers.
Takes orders at the Bakery counter.
Collaborates with team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
Reviews daily orders and establishes a timeline and production schedule.
Decorates bakery products efficiently.
Stays updated on new designs and trends.
Ensures compliance with department standards.
Verifies cake orders for accuracy and notes supply requirements.
Orders necessary supplies for the decorating area.
Delivers products and sets up wedding cakes on location.
Communicates with the bakery manager regarding displays and special requests.
Checks product expiration dates and lists items for replenishment.
Develops bakery orders for production staff.
Monitors daily retail output.
Acts as a lead for part-time staff.
Engages in cross-training with colleagues.
Follows proper sanitation protocols.
Adheres to company policies and store guidelines.
Punctually reports to work as scheduled.

Secondary Duties:
Wraps products as necessary.
Assists in other store areas as required.
Performs additional job-related tasks as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Worker Characteristics:
Capable of solving practical issues.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
Competent in filing, posting, and mailing materials.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent and six months or less of relevant experience.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally.
Visual capabilities include seeing at distances less than 20 inches and more than 20 feet.
Must be able to engage in various physical activities.

Working Environment:

The responsibilities for this role are typically carried out in a retail environment with exposure to flour dust, noise, and cleaning agents.
