Food Scientist

This role is responsible for preparing, blending, developing, and formulating solutions to project requests made through Sales or as part of internal project directives. The Food Scientist will provide technical support for all directed internal and external inquiries and require in-person customer visits where advanced technical guidance is necessary. Additionally, the Food Scientist will manage associate scientists and/or lab technicians. This role requires adherence to all operating procedures, safety regulations, and policies set forth by the company, as well as compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement technical solutions for customer projects
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers and internal teams
- Manage and lead associate scientists and/or lab technicians
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
- 8-10 years of ingredient application experience
- Strong technical knowledge of food science and technology
- Excellent communication and project management skills
This is a permanent position with up to 25% travel to client sites and trade shows required.
