Senior Joint Training Specialist and Liaison for Command Operations

Sigma Defense is in search of a Senior Joint Training Specialist to deliver support for Joint National Training Capability (JNTC) accreditation and certification mitigation to the Commander, U.S. Third Fleet (C3F). This role will involve providing expert knowledge of the Navy's Joint Partner Nation Training Team (JPNTT) and JNTC, particularly in relation to CSG4.

The ideal candidate will possess significant experience with the Navy's certification and accredited JNTC training processes and programs, including but not limited to Fleet Synthetic Training (FST) and Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX). Familiarity with the Optimized Fleet Response Plan (OFRP), Fleet Response Training Plan (FRTP), and Fleet Training Continuum (FTC) is essential.

Applicants should have a minimum of five years of experience in Combatant Command or Fleet level exercise/event planning and/or naval exercise execution involving Joint/Partner Nation participation. Additionally, at least three years of experience in an Echelon III (or higher) environment is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the management and execution of the Navy's JNTC training programs in accordance with established Joint Training Standards.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for JPNTT and JNTC in relation to C3F and CSG4.
  • Integrate operational-level Headquarters joint training programs into Navy's JNTC training initiatives.
  • Assist in developing and coordinating JPNTT to meet training requirements for live and synthetic training events.
  • Coordinate JNTC resources for all phases of the Joint Training Standards.
  • Advise on the synchronization of Navy training requirements with those of other services.
  • Manage the accreditation and certification processes for Navy's JNTC program.

Qualifications:

  • Active DoD issued Top Secret security clearance or higher is required.
  • Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Phase I or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum of eight years of experience in roles such as Technical Lead, Program Lead, or Project Lead.
  • Experience in tactical/operational planning and execution of training exercises.
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 annually.
