Position OverviewThe role of a Project Controls Analyst is crucial throughout the project lifecycle. As a key member of our project execution team, you will work closely with Project Managers and the Lead Project Controls Analyst.
Your primary focus will be on ensuring project success and surpassing both client and company expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Project Managers in the creation and organization of project documentation, including fee estimates, project plans, schedules, status reports, cost reports, and backlog projections.
- Support the project team in managing documents to ensure compliance with HR Green's standards.
- Maintain project risk logs and identify discrepancies in project task progress against established schedules and budgets.
- Input project work plans in accordance with professional service agreements to facilitate accurate invoicing and monitor project progress.
- Collect and analyze project data to identify potential issues, such as project variances and aged accounts receivables.
- Assist Project Managers with monthly billing processes and follow up with clients for approvals and payments.
- Help maintain project-related data in Deltek Vantagepoint and document project lessons learned.
- Support project close-out processes in alignment with HR Green standards.
- Prepare documents for archive storage as directed by the Lead Project Control Analyst and Project Manager.
An Associate's degree in finance, business, project management, or equivalent relevant experience is required, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. Candidates should have zero to two years of experience in project controls.
A general understanding of project budget management and experience with project financial indicators are strongly desired. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality standards are essential.
The ability to collaborate effectively within a team and build relationships across various organizational levels is crucial. Candidates should be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and database software is required, with experience in Deltek Vantagepoint considered a plus.
