**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at New Hyde Park Animal Hospital. As a key member of our hospital staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our clients.

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same. You will be responsible for greeting clients, preparing patient files, and handling medical records entries accurately.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients warmly and handle client correspondence
  • Prepare patient files and handle medical records entries
  • Answer client inquiries about basic animal care questions and routine procedures
  • Educate clients on over-the-counter products such as flea and tick preventions
  • Admit patients and handle payment transactions
  • Relay telephone, fax, and email messages accurately and promptly

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working as a Veterinary Receptionist/CSR is preferred but not required
  • Significant experience with basic office functions in a busy office environment
