About the Role

The Community Health Endowment (CHE) is seeking a visionary leader to serve as its President and Chief Executive Officer. As the primary face of the organization, this individual will be responsible for casting the vision and strategic direction of CHE, while working collaboratively with the Board of Trustees and staff to advance the organization's mission of making Lincoln, NE the healthiest city in the nation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan to achieve CHE's mission and goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including community leaders, funders, and partners
  • Oversee the development and implementation of programs and services that address health equity and access to healthcare
  • Manage and lead a team of dedicated staff to achieve organizational goals
  • Ensure the financial sustainability and growth of CHE's endowment
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Proven track record of leadership and management experience in a non-profit or healthcare setting
  • Strong understanding of health equity and access to healthcare issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
What We Offer

CHE offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including a comprehensive benefits package, paid holidays and vacation, and a pension benefit. The salary range for this position is between $170,000 - $190,000 and will be commensurate with experience.
