You'll join a dynamic team at Abbott Laboratories, a global healthcare leader that drives innovative solutions for people with diabetes. As a Chief Financial Officer, R&D Innovations, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and direction of our Diabetes business.

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to lead financial accounting, reporting, planning, and analysis activities for our R&D initiatives. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, optimize resource allocation, and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities will include:
  • Developing and implementing financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support business objectives
  • Leveraging financial data to inform strategic decisions and drive business performance improvement
  • Providing guidance and counsel to senior leadership on financial matters, including M&A opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations
  • Collaborating with external auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

Your Background:
To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong finance background, preferably with experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industries. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is required, while an MBA or advanced degree is preferred. You'll also bring:
  • A minimum 8 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and external partners

Salary Range:$109,300 - $218,500 (dependent on location)
