Position Overview:
The Technical Customer Associate plays a crucial role in managing the administration and communication of customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in service delivery. Responsibilities include addressing customer inquiries, processing waste profiles, and assisting in contract management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding waste disposal options, pricing, and regulatory compliance in a timely manner.
  • Verify and process incoming waste profile sheets, ensuring accuracy and appropriate routing for approval.
  • Input various data into the relevant systems, including profile information and confirmation letters.
  • Coordinate waste pickup schedules by communicating with relevant personnel and providing necessary details.
  • Review billing documentation for accuracy, ensuring coding aligns with contracted pricing.
  • Engage with existing customers to promote additional services and maintain strong relationships.
  • Assist internal teams in understanding contract specifications and pricing structures to enhance service delivery.
  • Prepare customer quotations and process Certificates of Tracking and Destruction as required.

Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in the hazardous waste or related industry is preferred.
Skills: Strong report preparation abilities, excellent communication skills, effective time management, and a customer-focused approach. Proficiency in computer applications is essential.
