Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate hospitality sales professional to join our team at Image Hotel Management. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with potential and existing clients, ensuring hotel revenues meet or exceed budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a marketing plan, sales budget, and market segment strategies to prospect business
  • Provide sales training to front office staff
  • Understand how to target and obtain extended stay business
  • Participate in revenue management calls and strategies
  • Schedule and complete sales appointments
  • Attend local business and community events
  • Assist in rate and inventory strategy with the General Manager and Revenue Manager
  • Negotiate hotel rates for long-term repeat accounts based on room night volume and day of week arrival/departure dates
  • Secure group business for the hotel, blocking rooms, sending contracts, and follow up on cut-off dates
  • Work with the operations team to greet group events
  • Assist guests with plans for meetings, schedules, and monitors meeting functions, conducts property tours, and explains amenities
  • Assist with follow-up on room lists, direct bill, and other requirements of previously booked business
  • Maintain sales files and ensure accurate entry in the sales system
  • Organize the work week to include a strong prospecting plan each week targeting business for needed hotel dates
  • Facilitate inside sales leads
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience
