Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Driver to join our team at Healthcare Services Group, Inc. As a key member of our dining services team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and service of meals, packing and delivering food to assigned units, and maintaining a clean and sanitized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pull truck delivery checklist and check fuel level in vehicle
  • Check production sheets and pack all items listed to be delivered to the units in a 5-mile radius
  • Unload vehicle and assist servers with setting up tray lines
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Cook or Dining Services Director/Manager
  • Assist servers with serving food
  • Ensure that appropriate equipment and utensils (dishes, glasses, cups, and eating utensils) are provided with the resident's meal tray
  • Follow posted cleaning schedules utilizing proper sanitation and cleaning methods
  • Clean food preparation area and utensils after use and after meal service
  • Interact appropriately with residents, clients, other personnel, and the public
Requirements
  • A valid state-issued driver's license
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand English, follow directions, and complete tasks
  • Ability to follow time schedules for meal preparation and serving
  • Maintains a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance
  • Dependable, with experience working in facilities utilizing quantity food production
  • Must provide a criminal background check
  • Food Safety Manager or Foodhandler Certification: Current ServSafe or State certification required as indicated by State/County law
