Key Responsibilities- Maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of refrigeration, heating, and air-conditioning systems in supermarkets, convenience stores, and cold storage facilities.
- Perform routine maintenance procedures on supermarket refrigeration systems and self-contained temperature-controlled merchandisers.
- Manage truck inventory, order, receive, bill out, and maintain parts responsibly with minimal waste.
- Manage assigned vehicle within company guidelines, maintain a clean vehicle, and perform required maintenance on time.
- Complete necessary documents and electronic communication in a thorough, accurate, and timely manner.
- Utilize hand-held devices to complete paperwork and invoicing requirements.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and correctly size thermostatic expansion valves.
- Working knowledge of pressure regulators as they pertain to pressurized gases.
- High School/GED and completion/certification from an HVAC-R technical school or 5 years of experience in HVAC or HVAC-R.
- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record in accordance with the Fleet Policy.
- Physical ability to walk distances, bench, and crouch, climb ladders, work at high elevations, and lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented, and highly motivated.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and leadership skills.
- EPA Certification and EPA 608 Universal Certification.
