Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere strictly to all operational guidelines and safety protocols, ensuring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear at all times.
Assess machine controls to facilitate plate changeovers and initiate machine operations for production requirements as necessary. - Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections on all manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Repair fundamental mechanical components and replace parts on machinery, including bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges, and switches.
- Monitor and listen to mechanical devices during operation to identify issues.
- Dismantle equipment to access and remove faulty components.
- Adjust functional parts of machinery and control instruments.
Examine used components to assess changes in dimensional specifications. - Lubricate and clean machinery and auxiliary equipment to uphold cleanliness and preventive maintenance standards within the facility.
- Document and monitor changeover durations and maintain accurate records.
- Complete all work orders to ensure safety, minimize downtime, reduce waste, enhance production quality, and boost operational efficiency.
- Comply with all safety regulations and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout protocols, housekeeping, and 5S standards, while observing operations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform additional related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing setting, or a comparable combination of training and experience.
- Ability to interpret documents such as procedural manuals, blueprints, schematics, charts, and diagrams.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments, including ammeters, voltmeters, and hydraulic gauges.
- Basic understanding of systems, equipment, and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
- Basic mathematical skills for performing addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and working with decimals and fractions.
- Ability to execute work responsibilities in a mature and professional manner, demonstrating accountability and fulfilling all assigned tasks.
