Dispensing Nurse Position

At Della Infotech, we are seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team as a Dispensing Nurse in a Clinic setting, working Days.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of experience in medication administration and possess a strong understanding of automated dispensing systems, medication inventory management, and patient treatment protocols.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Administering daily medications to patients in accordance with program policy and medical protocols
  • Maintaining dispensing equipment and ensuring compliance with security standards for the distribution and storage of controlled substances
  • Ordering, receiving, and stocking medication in accordance with DEA and State regulations
  • Providing daily patient assessments and collaborating with Nursing Supervisors to orient new nursing staff
  • Other related duties as determined by supervisor

The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work cooperatively with supervisory counseling staff. A valid BLS certification and active State license are required. Weekend and on-call requirements are possible.
