What You Will Do
The HRIS Onboarding team at Lattice is responsible for designing and developing the Onboarding and Documents domains in our HRIS. This critical product enables company admins to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new employees, ensuring they have the necessary information and resources to succeed. As a key member of this team, you will:
- Develop software solutions that help companies build a culture where employees thrive.
- Partner with other engineers to build and own products across a modern tech stack.
- Lead the planning and execution of complex projects with a high degree of ambiguity.
- Provide technical standards, conduct code reviews, and offer technical mentorship to junior engineers.
- Influence and drive alignment in large-scale projects, directly impacting business outcomes.
What You Will Bring to the Table
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- 7+ years of professional experience writing and maintaining production-level applications.
- Experience working with a modern programming language like JavaScript, Ruby, Python, etc.
- Good database and data modeling experience, including efficient data modeling, writing and optimizing performant queries in a relational database like PostgreSQL, and mentoring junior engineers on best practices.
- Knowledge of maintaining and scaling an application actively serving customers in production.
- Clear and concise communication skills, including explaining thought processes and tradeoffs.
- Experience working with designers and product managers to develop optimal solutions.
- A passion for mentoring and supporting junior software engineers.
- Experience leading the development roadmap for software projects.
- The ability to make the engineering team more effective through the pragmatic application of useful code tools and patterns.
What We Offer
Lattice offers a competitive annual cash salary range of $187,500.00 - $234,500, as well as incentive stock options, subject to the terms of our applicable plans.
