Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled engineer to manage and design solid waste management facilities and systems, including landfills, transfer stations, and recycling facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and manage all aspects of landfills, including double composite liner systems, leachate conveyance and storage facilities, and landfill gas collection and treatment systems.
  • Develop permit application documents, contract drawings, specifications, and estimates for solid waste management facilities.
  • Prepare engineering design reports, feasibility studies, and solid waste management plans.
  • Verify construction projects for compliance with plans and specifications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10-15+ years of experience in solid waste management engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in PA or the ability to obtain reciprocity is required.
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills, with experience in proposal preparation and presentation.
