Medical Assistant

To provide high-quality patient care and support licensed personnel in delivering exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the completion of patient databases and deliver age-appropriate care.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to prioritize care and participate in the development and prioritization of individualized plans of care.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective care and assist with discharge planning needs.
- Document interventions accurately, timely, and legibly, and administer medication observing the '5 rights.'
- Perform skills and tasks required by unit expectations and provide a safe environment for patients and caregivers.
- High School Graduate or GED equivalent.
- Successful completion of Nurse Aide course or equivalent.
- Current Certified Nursing Aide from the state of Kentucky.
- BLS certification - American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or American Red Cross (Healthcare Provider) required.
