About the Role

EGC Construction is seeking an experienced Piping Foreman to lead our Process/Utility Piping Systems team in the Food and Beverage and Pharmaceutical Industries.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor and develop lead craft workers to achieve exceptional results.
  • Manage contract administration, including subcontract and field management meetings for effective communication.
  • Develop and implement a program to maintain excellent client relations, involving staff on site.
  • Initiate and attend regular meetings with clients for problem resolution and planning.
  • Oversee and approve monthly job cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections.
  • Review, approve, and negotiate change orders.
  • Develop and implement a plan for project completion and turnover.
  • Maintain accurate records for daily reporting purposes.
  • Ensure timely completion of performance evaluations for direct reports.
  • Recommend organizational, policy, and procedural changes as needed.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of construction experience, with 3+ years in a foreman/leadership capacity.
  • OSHA 30 Certified (preferred).
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand various processes and software programs.
  • Strong experience in leadership, safety, negotiations, planning, and contract administration.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Candidates must have reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work within a 50-mile radius, with willingness to travel to other states for work.
  • Ability to work in various seasonal and weather conditions.

Abilities

  • Excellent auditory, speaking, and communicating capabilities.
  • Honest, reliable, dependable, and displays good character.
  • Physical requirements: standing, walking, bending, twisting, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50lbs, seeing, and reading.
