Job Title: Memory Care Director

Job Summary:

Inspir Embassy Row, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Memory Care Director to lead our Memory Care Program. As a key member of our senior living community, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality care and services to our residents with dementia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Supervise and direct a team of memory care staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating their performance.
  • Care Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their needs are met and their quality of life is enhanced.
  • Staff Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and education to staff on dementia care best practices, including person-centered care and behavior management.
  • Family Support and Education: Offer regular updates and support to families, providing education on dementia care and resources.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other department heads, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in social work, nursing, psychology, gerontology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum two years of experience in a senior living environment, specializing in Alzheimer's and other dementia-related diseases, with at least one year in a supervisory capacity.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills, with a passion for working with seniors with dementia and improving their quality of life.
