Job Title: Dialysis Technician

Grand River Medical Group is seeking a skilled Dialysis Technician to join our team in Manchester, IA. As a Dialysis Technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dialysis unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients to the dialysis station and obtain pre-dialysis vital signs
  • Perform needle insertion and central line access in accordance with established procedures and standards of care
  • Draw blood work as ordered and keep dialysis equipment under constant supervision
  • Remove patient needles and assure proper clotting of access
  • Assemble and prepare supplies and equipment for dialysis procedures
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Minimum one year related experience and/or training in a healthcare position preferred
  • Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) certification or Board of Nephrology Examiners Nursing and Technology (BONENT) certification required
