About the Position:

The Front Office Operations Manager is responsible for supervising front office staff and ensuring the efficient operation of the front desk. This includes coordinating activities such as reservations, guest services, and telephone operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervises front office staff to ensure they meet their job expectations and deadlines.
  • Evaluates employee performance and provides constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Maintains positive relationships with other departments to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Reviews and verifies accurate room status information to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Reviews credit limit reports and updates group information to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manages front office expenses within allocated budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Communicates with oncoming staff members to ensure smooth transitions and continuity.
  • Enforces cash handling and credit policies to maintain a secure environment.

Necessary Qualifications:

  • Requires excellent reasoning and problem-solving skills to handle complex situations.
  • Ability to analyze business records and statistical reports to inform decision-making.
  • Proficient computer skills to utilize software programs efficiently.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year.
