Job Summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. As a Float CT Technologist, you will operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes at multiple centers within the market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and advanced CT procedures on designated body parts with minimal supervision or repeats.
  • Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications.
  • Prepare patients for CT procedures, explaining the process and providing support throughout.
  • Produce diagnostic images and perform quality control tasks as assigned.
  • Adjust scan parameters correctly and utilize dose reduction techniques as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with doctors, nurses, patients, and family members.
  • Follow physicians' orders precisely and adhere to safety regulations.
  • Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and colleagues.
  • Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
  • ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiography.
  • Licensed Radiological Technologist in the applicable state, if required.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • CT certification.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of current insurance.
