Job Summary

Under the direction of the Radiologist, the Radiologic Technologist role performs a variety of radiographic procedures utilizing diagnostic imaging equipment for patient diagnosis. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in radiologic technology and excellent communication skills to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Operate and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring proper function and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Provide excellent patient care, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and images.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification eligible.
  • Valid applicable state(s) license in Radiologic Technology.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Six months of relevant experience preferred.
