The role of the Wood Processing Specialist is essential in the initial stages of guitar production. This position involves the careful inspection, preparation, and combination of raw wood materials to create high-quality components for assembly processes.
Attention to detail and a comprehensive understanding of wood types and characteristics are crucial for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to and implement standard operating procedures.
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw wood for defects such as cracks and grain inconsistencies.
- Safely operate various saws and wood processing equipment.
- Utilize sanding tools to achieve the desired finish and dimensions.
- Organize and label incoming shipments of raw materials efficiently.
- Maintain a production pass rate of 95% based on established requirements.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Manage product flow to meet operational needs.
- Follow departmental protocols, including safety and organizational practices.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks independently.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of various guitar models.
Experience and Education:
We seek results-oriented individuals with a proven track record of meeting objectives. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
