Ultrasound Technologist

As a skilled Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate, and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data. Your expertise will be essential in scheduling and coordinating tests, recording test results, and maintaining operational logs.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations to produce accurate images.
- Document patient assessment and history, ensuring accurate and timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled work.
- Provide patient education and support, promoting a positive patient experience.
- Operate computer and ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images and documentation.
- Practice quality control measures to ensure optimal images and maintain equipment.
- Enter and complete patient information, including exam charges and supplies, into the Radiology Information System (RIS).
- Prepare films for interpretation by radiologists in a timely and accurate manner.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers to ensure quality, continuity, and appropriateness of care.
- Follow department procedures, policies, and regulations, adhering to universal precautions and infection control guidelines.
- Minimum one year of experience in ultrasonography, with a preference for two years or more.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved ultrasonography program.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate and Basic Life Support certification.
- Basic PC skills, including keyboarding and navigation.
