Job Title: Medical Assistant

Advanced Pain Management of Virginia is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinicians in delivering high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a strong emotional connection with patients to understand their goals and desired outcomes.
  • Perform initial consultations to determine medical history, motivating factors, and functional goals.
  • Ensure all necessary services are provided to patients on the day of service.
  • Provide and ensure completion of all patient paperwork.
  • Effectively educate patients about their care plan and progress.
  • Ensure all patient needs are met, and care is consistent with their expressed desires.
  • Schedule next appointments correctly.
  • Encourage, resolve concerns, and gather testimonials during the care plan.
Requirements:
  • 1+ year of experience in a nursing-related field.
  • Experience working in a private medical practice is preferred.
  • Phlebotomy skills are a must.
  • 1+ year of administering IVs and blood draws.
