As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a vital role in our team, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct chemical analysis of body fluids, including blood and urine, to determine the presence of normal and abnormal components.
  • Manage laboratory supplies, including inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including hematology, chemistry, immunology, bacteriology, and other blood and body fluid analyzers.
  • Analyze laboratory findings to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Document information by maintaining daily logs and equipment record books.
  • Enter data from analysis of medical tests and clinical results into computer systems.
  • Resolve problems by examining and evaluating data, selecting corrective steps.
  • Provide technical information about test results to physicians.
Requirements:
  • Associate or Baccalaureate degree in medical laboratory science or technology, biology, microbiology, chemistry, or another area of science.
  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT).
  • One year of recent clinical experience preferred.
