Diagnostic Imaging Specialist Opportunity at Trident Medical Center

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Trident Medical Center. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the improvement of human life.

Job Summary

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will be responsible for performing radiological diagnostic procedures, preparing patients for procedures, and operating diagnostic equipment. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records, scheduling patients, and overseeing patient transportation.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning them, adjusting immobilization devices, and moving equipment into position.
  • Operate diagnostic equipment, process images, and prepare rooms with necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff by practicing radiation safety.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, schedule patients, and oversee patient transportation.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • RT Certification from ARRT.
