Front Desk Associate Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Front Desk Associate to join our team at AC Hotel Cambridge, a Colwen Hotels Property. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing the front desk operations, and ensuring a seamless stay for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Registration: Confirm reservations, assign guest rooms, and process check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Customer Service: Provide warm and professional welcome to all guests, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk, ensure timely check-in and check-out, and maintain knowledge of hotel policies, rates, and special offers.
  • Communication: Coordinate with Housekeeping Department to track room readiness and communicate guest requests and concerns.
  • Payment Processing: Process all payments types, including charges, cash, checks, debit or credit cards, and ensure prompt delivery of billing to guests.
Requirements:
  • Experience: One year of related experience, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Language: Bilingual - English/Spanish.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communications skills, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Availability: Willingness to work 7-day rotational work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
