Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSP) at DICE Residential Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide essential care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and/or autism.
  • Support individuals with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals.
  • Administer medication and monitor vital signs as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Assist with transportation and accompany individuals to appointments, community outings, or overnight outings as planned.
  • Implement individualized care plans (IISP) and document progress and observations using our electronic medical records and medication administration record.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) or experience in home care, nursing homes, or similar settings is preferred.
  • Knowledge of working with people with developmental disabilities or autism is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with dementia and mental health care is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
  • Empathy and compassion for individuals with special needs.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Work Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift.
  • Morning shift 7AM-7PM.
  • Night shift 7PM-7AM.
  • Rotating weekends every other weekend.

Application Requirements:

  • Reliable and on-time to employment.

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required).
  • NAR, HCA or CNA (required or has applied for with DOH-Dept of Health).
  • 75hr Certification.
  • Nurse Delegation Certification.
  • CPR/First Aide.
  • Blood Borne Pathogens.
  • Orientation and Safety Certification.

Work Location:

In person at the clients' residents within the Tri Cities.
