About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Telemetry team as part of our Nurse Residency Program. As an RN Resident, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop valuable clinical skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The HCA Nurse Residency Program is a year-long program designed to provide new graduate nurses with the tools necessary to succeed in today's hospital environment. The program includes advanced clinical training, monthly educational sessions, preceptorship training, measurement and evaluation of skills through hands-on simulations, and mentoring from experienced nurse leaders.

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience

Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including up to a $15,000 sign-on bonus for qualifying units, health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and education assistance.

Job Summary: The RN Resident coordinates and delivers high-quality patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN Resident provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.

Requirements: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year of employment, Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, and a valid Registered Nurse license or Graduate Nurse in the State.
