Key Responsibilities- System Testing and Commissioning: Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of Audio-Visual systems to ensure they meet the required specifications and standards.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership on major tasks or technology assignments, establishing goals and plans that meet project objectives.
- Documentation and Reporting: Document test results from system testing and commissioning, and provide reports to the Project Manager.
- Day-to-Day Operations: Perform daily tasks, including reading and interpreting electronic schematics and architectural blueprints, testing point-to-point functionality of systems, and reviewing project Scope of Work (SOW) to ensure quality and completeness of installation.
- System Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot integrated systems and perform minor programming changes under the direction of an engineer or programmer.
- Client Training and Support: Provide client training and support, and perform final job documentation as needed.
- Travel and Site Visits: Travel to various job sites as required to support the account.
- Education and Experience: Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of AV installation experience preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with test and calibration equipment, minor programming capability (AMX/Crestron) changes and troubleshooting, and knowledge of Advanced signal flow for audio, video, and control.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interaction with employees, clients, and colleagues, and ability to work and think independently and ensure to meet deadlines.
- Competitive Compensation: Hourly rate of $36.50-$47.00.
