We are seeking a skilled Monitor Technician to join our team at HCA Florida JFK Hospital. As a Monitor Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the high-quality care of our patients by monitoring their cardiac rhythms and providing critical support to our healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and identify any abnormalities or changes
- Operate and maintain electrocardiogram (ECG) machines and other monitoring equipment
- Provide critical support to our healthcare team by reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient monitoring data
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a monitoring or cardiac rhythm role
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
