Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at HCA Florida JFK Hospital. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including regular turning and positioning, dangling, and ambulating patients
- Collect and process specimens for diagnostic testing
- Assist with discharges and provide patient education on post-discharge care
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
HCA Florida JFK Hospital is a 558-bed acute care facility located in Atlantis, Florida. Our hospital is a Joint Commission certified Primary Stroke Center and an American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center.
