Job Summary

As a Fire Truck Technical Support Specialist at E-ONE, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality fire rescue vehicles to our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical support and training to dealers and customers, ensuring they are equipped to operate and maintain our vehicles effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and training to dealers and customers on the operation and maintenance of E-ONE fire rescue vehicles.
  • Assist in resolving service and parts problems, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Disseminate technical information and act as a liaison for dealers and customers.
  • Collaborate with the Service Department to coordinate delivery of new vehicles and aftermarket parts.
  • Review shop orders for completeness and accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot and initiate corrective measures for any issues identified.
  • Provide necessary training to customer personnel and establish relationships to encourage brand loyalty.
  • Arrange for periodic vehicle inspections and may assist in resolving difficult field repairs.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of college or trade school, specializing in mechanic, electrical, hydraulics, or engines, or a minimum of five years of experience in field service or on E-ONE fire apparatus.
  • Broad knowledge of multiple disciplines, including mechanics, plumbing, electrical, paint, body repair, and hydraulics.
  • Proficient computer skills and strong customer relations.

Working Conditions
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and up to 20 pounds constantly.
  • Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach.
  • Must be able to stand for sustained periods and walk for long distances.
  • Must have visual acuity to perform mechanical tasks and operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment.
