We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician to join our team at Universal Health Services' new rehab hospital in Northwest Reno. As a CNA or Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe and competent nursing assistant care to patients in our acute rehabilitation unit.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Complete bedside shift reports and ensure patients have access to their care team's contact information.
- Meet with supervising RNs to receive delegation of tasks and ensure patient care is aligned with facility policies and procedures.
- Adhere to fall precautions and promote patient safety in all aspects of care.
- Graduate of an accredited C.N.A program
- Current Nevada C.N.A. license
- Current BLS certificate
- Prefer one year full-time or three years part-time experience in an acute care setting
