About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Northern Nevada Medical Center. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing safe and competent nursing assistant care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide bedside shift reports to ensure seamless communication among care team members.
  • Meet with supervising RNs to receive delegation of tasks and ensure patient safety.
  • Involves patients and families in care planning, addressing psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and population-specific needs.
  • Follows facility policies and procedures to promote patient safety, including safe environment, equipment safety practices, radiation safety, and fire prevention.
  • Adheres to fall precautions by assisting patients with toileting and ADL care, never leaving them alone.
