We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our team at The Inland Real Estate Group of Companies, Inc. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for greeting prospects, presenting the features and benefits of our community, and securing lease agreements from qualified individuals.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the leasing process with prospective tenants, ensuring a seamless and professional experience.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service to future tenants and current residents, providing a welcoming and comfortable environment.
- Guide clients through tours, the application process, and close sales to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Maintain accurate records of prospective and current client history, ensuring timely and professional communication.
- Handle resident concerns and requests with a positive attitude, ensuring resident satisfaction and management support.
- Assist the Property Manager in coordinating maintenance, repairs, and community inspections to maintain a high level of community appearance.
- Train on-site staff to achieve operational goals and objectives.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong sales and/or leasing experience, with a high level of interpersonal communication skills.
- Able to maintain a high energy, friendly demeanor, and perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to perform entry to intermediate level mathematic functions without additional personnel assistance.
- National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) certification desired.
- Computer proficient in Microsoft Office and type at least 30 words per minute.
- Achieve Fair Housing certification prior to interaction with prospects or residents.
- Be able to work evenings and weekends if requested.
