Job Title: Parts Manager

Job Summary:

The Parts Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of the Parts Department, working in cooperation with the Service and Sales Department, to develop and maintain a satisfied and loyal customer base through excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervisory Responsibilities: Assign and direct work for all employees assigned to the parts department.
  • Coaching and Counseling: Coach and counsel employees to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction and inventory accuracy.
  • Account Management: Manage large and important accounts, including inside sales support, ordering and expediting orders, and advising.
  • Inventory Management: Replenish inventory, investigate and correct order strategies, and review and adjust order controls for parts meeting exception criteria.
  • Performance Management: Conduct performance and salary appraisals, develop employees for future roles, and maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
  • Strong working experience in successfully growing parts revenue.
  • Computer and software skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
