Key Responsibilities

  • Train, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures and safe working procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our customers and staff.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, setting a positive example for our team members.
  • Delegate tasks to restaurant staff and supervise their performance, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Balance cash at the end of the shift and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Inform the next Shift Manager about pending tasks and ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities.
  • Report maintenance and training needs to the Assistant Managers and General Manager.
  • Ability to come to work promptly and as scheduled, and to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Arrange to have shifts covered when employees take time off, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.
  • Report directly to the Assistant Managers and General Manager, providing regular updates on the performance of the restaurant and any issues that may arise.
  • Must be able to stand for at least an 8-hour shift, and be able to lift 35 pounds to waist level.
  • Open or close the restaurant when responsible for the first or last shift, ensuring that all tasks are completed and the restaurant is secure.

Qualifications

  • A customer service approach with the ability to manage complaints with professionalism.
  • High stress tolerance and ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
  • Willing to work normal schedule of 40 hours per week, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Must have a great personality, desire to serve guests, enjoy working as part of a team, and be upbeat and engaging.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
