Job Summary

Mission Linen Supply is seeking a highly motivated and sales-oriented Route Sales and Service Driver to join our team. As a key member of our sales and service team, you will be responsible for driving and providing services to customers on designated routes in your community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a professional appearance and comply with the company's standards.
  • Call on prospective customers to solicit new business and inform regular customers of new products or services.
  • Drive a 26' bobtail truck to deliver laundry and/or uniforms to customer's place of business and collect or pick up rejected or unsold laundry and/or uniforms.
  • Load and unload truck, develop and maintain customer goodwill by providing assistance and practicing courtesy towards the customer.
  • Conduct business in a professional manner to minimize or eliminate customer complaints and handle complaints and questions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Listen to and resolve service complaints, maintain inventory and follow company policies on inventory control.
  • Collect money from customers, make change, and record transactions on customer invoices.
  • Issue or obtain customer signature on invoices for pickup or delivery and record delivery and inventory information on daily invoices.
  • Clean inside of the truck and perform routine maintenance on truck.
  • Attend training and service department meetings.
Requirements
  • Must have sales and customer service experience.
  • Must have a clean driver's license.
  • Must be able to drive a 26' bobtail truck.
  • Must be comfortable loading/unloading your own truck with up to 50 LBS bags of linen daily.
  • Must pass the drug tests and clinic physical.
