Grounds Operations Technician

Position Overview:
The role involves ensuring the preservation of the grounds, facilitating workflow to enhance production efficiency, and executing minor repairs at the Sugaright facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to established Work Instruction protocols for sanitation and chemical management.
- Oversee the daily implementation of the Master Cleaning Schedule.
- Assist the Sanitation Technician as required.
- Ensure the exterior of the facility is well-maintained, including pressure washing, gutter cleaning, and debris removal.
- Receive and unload raw materials, maintaining an organized storage area.
- Complete the Facility Maintenance Daily Cleaning Checklist report.
- Conduct basic repairs, painting, power washing, and operate a floor scrubber.
- Utilize powered industrial equipment such as floor scrubbers, forklifts, and scissor lifts.
- Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse storage area and collaborate with the production team for cleanups and waste disposal.
- Ensure the diesel tank area and neutralization tank room are kept clean.
- Report any incidents related to food safety and quality.
- Document daily cleaning activities and report any incidents.
- Coordinate with the Shift Coach as time allows to clean designated areas.
- Work closely with Load-Out Operators and Specialty Operators to maintain cleanliness across all areas.
- Maintain equipment as instructed and ensure the work area is tidy at all times.
- Perform sanitation on equipment as necessary.
- Comply with GMP and other quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Accountability:
This position is responsible for adhering to food safety and quality system requirements, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory, customer, and SQF standards.
Compensation: $22-22 Hourly Wage
