Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Escort: Escort detainees to and from airports, bus stations, and other designated locations, ensuring their safety and security at all times.
  • Vehicle Operations: Operate company-provided vehicles to transport detainees, adhering to all safety and security protocols.
  • Detention and Security: Provide overall security and supervision of detainees during transportation, ensuring their well-being and safety.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and reports of transportation activities, including detainee transfer paperwork and mileage logs.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; at least one year of experience as a law enforcement officer or military policeman, or six months of experience as a security officer engaged in detaining civil or administrative detainees.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License with passenger and air brake endorsements; Texas State Level 2 and 3 Armed Guard permit.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to perceive sounds, receive detailed information through oral communication, and maintain a minimum standard of visual acuity.
Working Conditions

As a Transportation Officer with Trail Boss, you will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, often in challenging conditions. You must be able to adapt to temperature changes and exert up to 100 pounds of force when necessary.
