Position Overview:
- Oversee and provide direct supervision for mobile staging and operational support personnel.
- Manage scheduling for collection staff and coordinate any necessary adjustments post-scheduling.
- Engage in staff call duties, perform bus driver responsibilities (if applicable), and assist with donor collection as needed.
- Additional responsibilities include submitting weekly time records for staff and aiding in daily quality control reviews.
Essential Functions:
Administrative:
- Offer direct supervision and guidance to mobile staging and operational support teams.
- Develop and maintain the staffing schedule for mobile staging and operational support.
- Review and submit weekly time records through the ADP system.
- Evaluate metrology records for accuracy.
Operational:
- Ensure an adequate supply of non-warehouse forms/tags for mobile and fixed sites.
- Perform bus driver and blood collection duties as required.
- Assist with departmental equipment validations.
- Guarantee that staging and operational support staff help with loading and unloading supplies for mobile drives.
- Ensure that mobile and center staging pods are well-stocked and ready for outgoing blood drives or fixed site centers promptly.
- Confirm that equipment returning from inside set-up drives is properly stored and charged when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of box trucks, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies and equipment before each departure.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Experience in mobile and apheresis collections is essential.
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Proficient computer skills, including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Capability to work collaboratively in a diverse environment.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, and peers.
