About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures, including tests on in-patients and out-patients.
  • Utilize various Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment to ensure accurate and efficient results.
  • Receive, prepare, and maintain radioactive material doses and radiation records.
  • Participate in the rotation of the hot lab area and adhere to established radiation safety techniques and equipment.
  • Take emergency after-hours calls on a rotating basis.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-accredited nuclear school of medicine or an accredited school of radiologic technology.
  • 1 year of previous experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
