As a Radiologic Technologist PRN, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiology procedures, including X-ray and fluoroscopy exams, to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients./ppstrongResponsibilities/strong/pulliPerform diagnostic radiology procedures, including X-ray and fluoroscopy exams, to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients./liliPosition patients for optimal imaging results and ensure proper positioning and alignment./liliOperate radiology equipment, including X-ray machines and fluoroscopy units, to produce high-quality images./liliAssist physicians during diagnostic or special procedures, including assisting with sterile technique./liliProvide accurate explanations and instructions to patients and family members at an appropriate level utilizing verbal and non-verbal skills, terminology and language./li/ulpstrongRequirements/strong/pulliGraduate of education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) indicated below in the Certifications, Licenses and Registrations section./liliARRT-R - Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer (ARRT) within 1 year/liliCMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist - State Licensure/liliOR CMRT-Temp - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist - Temporary State Licensure/liliBLS - Basic Life Support (AHA)/li/ulpstrongWorking Conditions/strong/ppThis position requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods. The Radiologic Technologist PRN must be able to lift and move patients, as well as operate radiology equipment.
