Qualifications for Success

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in Jenkins, Groovy, Dynatrace, and New Relic.
  • Expertise in implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform in Azure and on-premises environments.
  • Experience with GitHub, GitAction CI/CD, and Azure DevOps for automation.
  • Knowledge of load balancing applications, including proxies and CDNs.
  • Ability to implement monitoring and observability in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure cloud.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Familiarity with open-source logging infrastructure.
  • Capability to script automated performance testing scenarios for APIs and web front ends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in the airline industry is advantageous.

Technical Proficiencies:

  • Experience with Node.js and GraphQL.
  • Hands-on experience with IaaS, PaaS, and container orchestration platforms (Docker & Kubernetes).
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-native relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases like Cassandra and MongoDB.
  • Proficiency in database and persistence frameworks, including MongoDB.
  • Experience with web services such as GraphQL and REST/SOAP.
